Unfortunately the Brita filter has earned a poor reputation for lasting
the distance. It's price performance ratio is better than Aqua-Pure,
however falls far short compared to Aquasana AQ-4000.

- Chlorine
- Added to our our supply by government agencies. It is a necessary
service as it kills harmful, even deadly living matter in our water

Chlorine has been linked to several health problems (cardiovascular
illness and cancer) and cosmetic effects (dry skin and hair).
- Lead

- Cysts

- THMs
(trihalomethanes) - form when chlorine combines with living matter.

- VOCs
